Joel Stephens (cyclist)
Joel is 19 years of age and has grown up with sport his whole life. from soccer through to cricket, athletics, AFL and more recently cycling; especially after getting a road bike. As a student studying physiotherapy Joel has developed a passion for empowering people, using practical means, to help themselves improve their health situation and overall quality of life which in many ways is what world bicycle relief achieve to do
Jordan Strahan (cyclist)
Jordan is a 19 year old Health and Physical Education student at the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle. He thoroughly enjoys most sports and is known to occasionally tickle the guitar strings now and then. Whilst this trip will most likely signify the end of his short stint as a serious cyclist, leisurely rides are never out of the question.
Luke Smith (support driver)
Luke is a former professional Swimmer, representing Australia 3 times in international competition winning four Gold. He loves just about all sports and is a keen musician playing multiple instruments. Luke has a passion to help others and see’s being the support crew on this trip as an awesome opportunity to make a huge difference in the lives of others in Africa.
Caleb Gray (team manager)
Caleb is an avid professional photographer who shoots anything from weddings to parties while at the at the same time studying a bachelor of theology. He is also a keen surfer since coming from South Africa as a teenager. Being close friends with the trio Caleb happily offered to be the “go to man” for the trip.
Allan Zanich (corporate fundraising and relations)
Allan is a boundary umpire for the Australian Football League. Along with his active lifestyle Allan is quiet the family man and is the only guy in the team who is in a relationship, happily married with a couple of boys. He has a vast understanding of the corporate sector and with his experience and passion he is driving force in making this team something great in impacting the lives of others.
